Good Morning!

 Long before Ditto had met Keith, he had always been fond of getting up early to watch the sunrise and had kept up the habit since she had caught him as a Riolu in .

On one particular morning, while they were staying at a Pokemon Center, Keith was just pondering over whether or not being caught by a trainer who was often scatterbrained and a bit childish was worth his time.  He had been wondering this when the first rays of the sunrise peeked over the mountains in the horizon.  

Excited, Keith jumped up and grasped onto the banister, holding himself up and watching with shining eyes as the sun slowly crawled over the mountains.  He was so caught up in the spectacle that he didn't hear the bare feet stepping on the porch and approach him until he felt a kiss being placed upon his left ear.

Keith blushed, looking behind him and seeing Ditto standing there, her hair bedraggled.  It was rare seeing her up before 9 am, since she usually loved to sleep in late, so seeing her there with him surprised Keith.

"You know," Ditto said, leaning against the rail beside Keith, "this is the first time I ever seen a sunrise! I should get up this early more often, huh?" she gave him a warm smile before turning her attention back to the sunrise.

Keith stared at her in awe, still blushing.  He smiled and barked elatedly, wagging his tail.  Maybe this human wasn't so bad after all and was also ready to be let on in his little secret.  He'd give it awhile first, just to be sure.  Once the sun was settled in the sky, Keith looked back over at Ditto, not at all surprised to see her still leaning against the railing, only with her head down, sound asleep. 

"Heh, you humans are strange creatures," Keith remarked, patting Ditto's hair fondly.  He went back to admiring the beauty of the early morning, waiting until Ditto awoke or until Blaze came out to get her.
