Herbert, my Shiny Leavanny

Leavanny, the Nurturing Pokemon, and the final evolved form of Sewaddle. Upon finding a small Pokémon, it weaves clothing for it from leaves by using the sticky silk secreted from its mouth. It keeps its eggs warm with heat from fermenting leaves. It also uses leaves to make warm wrappings for Sewaddle.

A Shiny Leavanny was traded to me and  he still had his Japanese name, so I couldn't change it in the game, but nonetheless, I have dubbed him Herbert after my fave Monsters vs. Aliens character, Dr. Herbert Cockroach

Herbert, or Herb for short, came to be part of Ditto's team when she was running her errands in Camphrier Town, getting her wallet stolen by a local teen.  Herbert was a wild Leavanny at the time and was just passing by when he heard Ditto in distress.  He had managed to trip the teen with a strand of sticky thread, get the wallet back, and give it back to Ditto, who was very thankful and also very surprised to see a shiny version of her fave Bug-type.  

Ditto offered him a place on her team to show her gratitude and to give Herbert a loving home.  He was more than happy to oblige.  Herb is a gentleman and a very sophisticated Pokemon who enjoys watching the sunrise and playing challenging mind games. He often helps babysit and look after the Eeveelutions and the young Pokemon, taking a special liking towards Ana, 's baby Noibat, feeling very sorry for her after hearing that she had lost her mother at such a young age.

He didn't mean for it to happen, but he has an ongoing rivalry with Echo-Echo, Ditto's Noivern, over who looks after and cares for Ana.  Echo-Echo doesn't like him because of this, and will glare and growl at Herb when he's anywhere near Ana. Herb used to be a bit weary of him, but now he is unfazed.

Herb has a British accent *I couldn't help it *, which, along with his name, makes him a target of entertainment and mocking for Charlie, Beth, Frankie, and sometimes Blaze. He enjoys the company of his fellow Leavannies, Wildvine and Missy as well as Ditto's Serperior, Sammy, her Roserade, Kevin, her Leafeon, Rook, and Charlie's Roserade, Mysterieux, and her Roselia, Wendy.

Herbert is currently at Level 47, has a Calm Nature, and the Ability, Swarm, which powers up his Bug-type moves when he is in trouble. His current moveset is: Leaf Blade, Bug Bite, X-Scissor, and Swords Dance.
